Takeshy X. Coaquira
Director
Takeshy is a Peruvian geologist. He worked as the principal exploration geologist for BHP in the Australasia region; his specialties include the use of geochemistry applied to target generation for porphyry, IOCG, and sediment-hosted copper systems. Previously he worked for Rio Tinto as a project geoscientist, where he wrote his undergraduate thesis on the largest Peruvian Cu-Mo porphyry deposit, La Granja. Takeshy conducted his PhD research at the Centre of Ore Deposit and Earth Sciences (CODES), University of Tasmania, on the supergiant high-grade Resolution Cu-Mo porphyry deposit in Arizona.
